§ = The tappet must never contact the retainer for this application. To ensure this, the top surface of the shim must never fall below the top surface of the retainer
1) Both of these kits are compatible with the OEM tappet lash adjustment system and the KPMI shim conversion tappets, Tappets sold in sets of 8 pcs. These
tappets must be used with KPMI spring kit 82-82450 or 82-82500 to convert to a 9.5mm shim adjustment system.
2) The seals included in these kits are intended for use with OEM guides. Please use KPMI P/N 700-100016 when installing KPMI guides.
3) Some early 2013 models came from the OEM with guides that included a seal detail. These guides require the use of KPMI seal P/N 82-82181.
4) Our Turbo spring kit has been designed for applications with up to 15psi of boost.
