KPMI Bronze Valve Guides:
We choose to use C630 nickel bronze as a material to make valve guides
because of its ideal characteristics for the application. The 4-5 percent
nickel content provides superior resistance to wear, and the approximately
80 percent copper content delivers outstanding heat conductivity. Guide
profiles are designed to have minimal effect on the airstream while
maintaining critical cross sectional thickness in high temperature areas,
promoting high performance and endurance. The top portion of the guides
are shortened when cam lift information available at the time of design
shows that additional retainer to seal clearance is required.

KPMI R&D has produced a
proprietary cast iron blend that thrives
in the tough operating conditions
of today's engines. KMPI's certified
cast iron provides excellent wear
resistance and a superior guide bore
finish that is easy on valve stems.
KPMI Valve Stem Seals “The Red Ones”:
KPMI Red Viton
®
valve stem seals are designed to have optimum fitment, allow for
maximum lift, and to give maximum life. KPMI Red valve stem seals are resistant to high
temperatures, petroleum products and by-products of combustion. They retain their
ability to seal in situations where other materials could allow oil to enter the combustion
chamber causing detonation, carbon build up and a loss of power. The Red Ones are
truly the racer’s choice.
