RISERLESS HANDLEBAR BUNGS
• These bungs are perfect for building custom riser-
less handlebars. Proudly made in the USA from
premium American 1018 cold rolled steel for easy
welding.
• The internal riser bungs are designed to fit inside
1” outer diameter steel tubing with a maximum
wall thickness of .120” (11 gauge). A machined
chamfer allows for proper weld penetration. The
1” diameter is a perfect match to your tubing and
the 1-1/4” overall length allows for sufficient thread
engagement. The coped end bungs fit perfectly to
1” diameter tubing and the 1” length from edge of
cope to flat face provides 1” of rise once welded to
your handlebar.
• These bungs feature 1/2-13 internal threads for
mounting to Harley Davidson® style triple trees.
Your handlebar mounting bolts pass through the
bottom of the triple trees and thread into these
bungs for a much cleaner installation as compared
to traditional clamp style risers. See photos for all
dimensions.
NPT PETCOCK BUNGS
These NPT (National Pipe Thread) bungs are
most commonly used for gas tank petcock bungs
or for oil tank fittings. Proudly made in the USA
from premium American 1018 cold rolled steel for
easy welding. Note: NPT threads are tapered. They
are only designed to be used with corresponding
NPT threaded fittings or pipe. The tapered design
allows the threads to create a leak proof seal when
tightened. They are not to be used with standard
bolts or hardware. These bungs install easily by
inserting into a 3/4” diameter hole and welding
around the 1” diameter flange. See photos for all
dimensions.

These caps are the perfect finishing touch when building a
custom oil or gas tank for your chopper. Easy to weld 1018
