Warranty
- All HMK outerwear are covered by a two year limited warranty. This limited warranty covers material and/or workmanship found to
be defective (as determined by the manufacturer) within 24 months from the date of purchase. Products found to be defective will be repaired
or replaced as determine by the manufacturer. For all warranty requests and questions contact HMK at (541) 386-3262.
You must obtain a return authorization number for all warranty requests.
XR-Platinum is the highest level of lamination available through the XR Performance
Weatherproofing brand. With top of the line breathability ratings, it suits four seasons of riding.
Whether the weather is making you sweat or shiver, the XR-Platinum will be the peak of moisture
management. XR-Platinum level items are unlined and intended for use with a full layering
compliment.
XR-Gold is the gold standard of weatherproofing. All items at the gold level of XR-Performance
are optimized for off the shelf use by any user to remain dry and comfortable for an entire day of
riding, no matter the conditions. XR-Gold level items are built with internal lining systems to assist
in moisture management and insulation.
Here at HMK we like the ladies, and we know that many of you rip just as hard as the guys. That is
why we have several styles and items in our line-up that are specifically designed to keep you dry,
keep you warm, and keep you looking good.
OUTERWEAR TECHNOLOGY
Cascade Ballistic is the fabric of choice for durability and resistance to abrasion, tearing, and
scuffing. Packaged with XR Weather Proofing Technology, the Cascade Ballistic fabric becomes a
rugged shield against the elements.
XR-Performance weatherproofing technology employs microporous laminations and coatings to produce durable, breathable and
waterproof products for use in the most extreme climates in the world. These coatings and laminates are combined with a variety
of durable shell fabrics and insulation systems to create weatherproof barriers against severe conditions and temperatures in HMK
outerwear.
All PLATINUM, GOLD and SILVER levels of XR-Performance Weatherproofing laminate an advanced microporous membrane
to the shell fabric, creating a durable, highly breathable and extremely waterproof shield against extreme conditions and varying
temperatures.
XR-Silver is used in our casual riding pieces as well as our insulated pieces. The breathability of a
garment is affected by the presence of insulation and linings of some items. On these pieces we
provide a similar level of waterproofing while saving the cost of our higher end, more breathable
laminates as they are not effective when paired with these lining systems.
