Straight Plows come in four lengths to accommodate
ATVs of all sizes. All Steel Plows are constructed of
12-gauge heavy-duty steel.
See page 215
OPTION 1: THE MANUAL LIFT KIT
Requires a low lift effort, while achieving serious lift. You’ll get
at least 5½” of lift with as little as 25 lbs (13 kg) of effort. The
Manual Lift works universally for most ATVs. To ensure safe
operation, the blade locks securely in the up position. When
you’re done plowing the whole lift removes with the push tubes,
so when you’re trail riding the equipment is not in your way.
OPTION 2: POWER MAX ELECTRIC LIFT
OPTION 3: WINCHES
Winches are another popular method of raising and lowering
plows, plus it comes in handy when you tackle too much snow.
STEP 1:
CHOOSE YOUR PLOW
(STYLE AND SIZE)
STEP 3:
CHOOSE THE MOUNT KIT
STEP 4:
CHOOSE YOUR LIFT SYSTEM
The Push Tubes are built of heavy-duty 1½” steel tubing
and are designed with maximum strength by triangulat-
ing the tubes. They also feature multiple swivel positions
and four-way adjustment at the cutting edge. As always,
these push tubes attach to the middle of the ATV conve-
niently with two quick pins.
STEP 2:
ADD THE PUSH TUBE
There are two basic mount designs: The All-Mount and
ATV specific mounts. These sturdy brackets can be
mounted to the middle of the ATV frame in minutes and
are the only component left on the ATV when the plow,
push tube, and lift system are detached. The design of
these mounts does not prohibit normal maintenance such
as changing the oil. Mount kits are available for almost
every ATV model.
A rocker switch (with relay) mounted to the handle bar and
accessible from your driver’s seat lifts the blade system smoothly
and locks in position when the switch is released. Maximum
lift capacity is 750 lbs, far greater than the heaviest weight of
approximately 150 lbs for the plow system alone. A strong 1”
by 39” strap (with 2000lb break strength), attaches to the plow
assembly to lift the plow system safely.
Part numbers vary please refer to the application
chart on pages 221-222
OPTION 1: ATV SPECIFIC MOUNT
OPTION 2: ALL MOUNT
This mount design provides an adjustable attachment method that
will fit many, but not all ATVs. For machines that can not use the
All Mount kit, look to Cycle Country model specific mount kits for a
mount that will work.
