With the enhanced cooling of the REVOLT regulator there is no need to relocate them to the front of the vehicle. The REVOLT regulators can be mounted anywhere, though avoiding open areas subject to water, mud, and rocks would be ideal. We recommend mounting both regulators on the rear firewall behind the seats. ** - There are two possible stators for the RZR XP 900 and RZR 4 XP 900 models. This stator fits models built 3/16/12 and after (OEM# 4013013, stator thickness 19 mm). Always check in the ‘Fits models’ section and please compare to your original part before buying. When using this stator on 2016-2018 Polaris Sportsman 570 models, please pay close attention to the stator and regulator wiring harness routing. The OEM wire routing was very poor, and allowed the harness to rub against the motor, damaging the insulation and damaging the charging system. We recommend routing your stator/regulator wiring outside of the frame rail, and securing the harness to the frame with zip ties. This should prevent any future damage to the wiring harness. *** - This product is a direct aftermarket replacement to Polaris Recall Z-16-01-C (OEM # 2206620, 2206367, 2206473) includes a conversion harness to allow a worry free connection to older models main harness. However, for some 2016-2017 RZR models, the regulator connects directly to the main harness without the need for a conversion harness.
