Refer to the “Installation” tab on RM Stator website. * - There are two possible regulators for the Can-Am Outlander 1000 2012 and many Outlander Max 500 models. This regulator fits mostly the North American versions of these models. Always check in the ‘Fits models’ section and please compare to your original part before buying. 2006 2007 Can-Am Outlander 400 fitment requires a special installation. Refer to the “Installation” tab on RM Stator website. ** - There were 2 different regulators used on 2017-2018 Polaris Sportsman 570 models. Please compare your original to our pictures. The other possible regulator is 98-7080. When using this regulator on 2016-2018 Polaris Sportsman 570 models, please pay close attention to the stator and regulator wiring harness routing. The OEM wire routing was very poor, and allowed the harness to rub against the motor, damaging the insulation and damaging the charging system. We recommend routing your stator/regulator wiring outside of the frame rail, and securing the harness to the frame with zip ties. This should prevent any future damage to the wiring harness. *** - There were 2 different regulators used on 2017-2018 Polaris Sportsman 570 models. Please compare your original to our pictures. Our 98-7080 regulator will ONLY replace an original that looks EXACTLY the same. ^ - 2006 2007 Can-Am Outlander 400 fitment requires a special installation.
