This stator fits models built 3/16/12 and after (OEM# 4013013, stator thickness 19 mm). For the stator built 3/15/12 and before, the right part is 98-7067 (OEM# 4013224, stator thickness 27 mm). Always check in the ‘Fits models’ section and please compare to your original part before buying. When using this stator on 2016-2018 Polaris Sportsman 570 models, please pay close attention to the stator and regulator wiring harness routing. The OEM wire routing was very poor, and allowed the harness to rub against the motor, damaging the insulation and damaging the charging system. We recommend routing your stator/regulator wiring outside of the frame rail, and securing the harness to the frame with zip ties. This should prevent any future damage to the wiring harness. ^ - Please compare your current stator before buying. There are two possible stators for many 2002-2003 Polaris models. This stator has a rectangular 4-pins plastic connector. For the 2x2-pins rubber connectors stator, the right stator is the 98-7014.
