WITHOUT TOOLS! Height is measured from headlight cutout to top of the shield. Width is measured in a straight line across the back of the shield at the widest point. 1. Determine your motorcycle’s make, model and year. 2. Choose the appropriate SwitchBlade® Mount Kit 3. Determine what style windshield best fits you. • Consider your height and saddle position. • Determine your riding habits: Daily commutes? Long trips? Weekend rides? • Do you want maximum protection? A sporty look? Or a combination? 4. Sit on your bike, measure from a few inches above the headlight to the point horizontally level with the tip of your nose. 5. SELECTING THE CORRECT WINDSHIELD & MOUNT KIT FOR YOUR BIKE Windshield height is a personal preference, but one recognized standard is to be able to look just over the top of your windshield to see the road at a distance of 50 feet in front of you. Generally, this means that a correctly sized windshield mounted to your bike will have a top edge that is horizontally level with the tip of your nose ,or just slightly below eye level.
