The Serial Diagnostic System Kit diagnoses the Electronic Fuel Injection Module (EFI) and others (Security Modules, ABS, etc.) through the diagnostic connector. The system consists of a communication interface with Indian adapters, USB cable for connection to your Laptop (PC) and the downloadable software is compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10. A wireless Bluetooth Diagnostic Kit is also available for Windows based tablets. Internet connection is always required while tool is in use. (except FTR and Challenger) • The Advanced Tuning Dongle provides the ability to use an embedded database of calibrations and capable of using a full range of DIAG4TUNE functions. These calibrations (maps) are pre-set for several configurations of exhaust and intake components and combinations. These calibrations are not editable (yet). • The tuning functionality is solely accessible through the DIAG4BIKE Serial Diagnostic Software and Interface. • The tuning software, DIAG4TUNE, is included in the diagnostic software and has been available since version 12. To tune an individual motorcycle, a TUNING DONGLE must be purchased, and which is then mated with that motorcycles’ ECM hence forth. It is recommended to use the latest version of DIAG4BIKE software. • The tuning process does not require the installation of additional component(s) or any motorcycle harness modification. Tuning is based on the modification of EFI Calibrations (software modifications/reflash), exclusively via the diagnostic connector. • The first step in tuning is storage of the original EFI Calibration. The tuning operator can restore the original EFI Calibration at any time during the tuning process. • The tuning process is used to optimize Fuel Maps in case of any changes to the configuration of engine components or accessories (exhaust, intake or cams, etc.). • The AFR Tuning Monitor is used for the advanced tuning mode and consists of two wideband Air/Fuel ratio sensors and a compact electronic unit. It is an option for the DIAG4BIKE communication interface and can be used with a roller station or on road tests to develop custom VE (volume efficiency) fuel maps. • This set is an option to the AFR Tuning Monitor. It allows you to install a pair of wide band sensors on all exhausts where it is not possible to simply replace the installed O2 sensors (18mm thread). The set contains a powerful double pump, which ensures high accuracy and measurement speed of the actual AFR in each cylinder. The pump is powered by a 12V supply and can therefore also be used for road testing. An open pipe adapter is available to extract undiluted exhaust gas farther up the pipe. • This set is an option to AFR Tuning Monitor.
