Difference = 10.80” The correct difference must be divided by 2 to determine extension length / 2 The required axle extension length is = 5.40” NOTE: If drive sprocket diameter is reduced, more axle extension will be required. The final factor that may require more or less axle extension is the amount of shrinkage or stretch in the new track and the existing track.
