The Batfly grooves on the outer disc’s surface create a self-ventilating mechanism allowing the rotor to cool down & easily clean mud & dirt from the pads surface for the best in overall brake performance. The inside & outside of the disc’s diameter has a non- round design, allowing for better radial expansion of the disc in high heat conditions. • Front rotor kit that includes: 280mm disc, caliper relocation bracket & a set of sintered CM46 race grade Braking pads • Full floating design- disc material is stainless steel with carrier & rivets made of aluminum for reduced weight • Features Batfly directional geometry with non-round profile • Has been used by world championship winning teams around the world in MX/SX BATFLY ® REAR ROTORS • Batfly directional geometry with non round profile. • Disc material and construction process: laser cut stainless steel AISI410, heat treated + finished on CNC machines • Improvement of the brake response and modulability. The Batfly system improves the rider’s feeling and the response during the overall braking event and brings the performances at the top of the category. • Better cooling effect: the Batfly system, thanks to the special grooves on the rotor, represent a great evolution in heat dissipation, due to the area that alternatively is not covered by one of the pads. In this way, when the internal pad touches the disc the external does not and vice versa, so the heat generated on one side can be dissipated inside the “ventilation channel” created between the other side pad and the disc. • Better effectiveness of the pads. The Batfly system cleans and re-new the pad surface at each pass on the grooves, maintaining the friction coefficient of the pads at the maximum level, even in the worst environmental condition.
